How create a professional App Store screenshot that converts in minutes

So, this one is the app launchpad. The app launchpad.com. Just come on here and you can get started for free. You can sign up for free and they have a free plan. So, I’ve already logged in and this is how the dashboard looks like. You can get started with a new design or go with your save designs that you already done. And then they have different screen sizes here. You can go with a custom size as well. And the other uh important thing that they’ve got is mock-ups.

So if I go to mockups, you can see that they have got a lot of templates. So if you’re trying to market your app and you want to post something on LinkedIn, Instagram, you can go with these amazing looking templates. Just pick a template, add some content here, and add your screenshots. It’s good to go. You can start marketing your app as well. So they have got a lot of these. Uh but their key SP is creating app store screenshots. So let’s go back to that.

And here you can see that you can get started from scratch. But the best USB of this is that you don’t have to start from scratch. You can go with a lot of these templates that they have got and these are really amazing professional looking templates you can get started with right so let’s go with something so I am going to create a travel app and I’ve already taken screenshots for my app so let me just see which one looks good for my app and yeah this one seems good I like the style that they have is looking great so let’s go with this just click on it and this should open up a project with the template opened up so there you go so they also have a help center which opens up as soon as you open a project.

And here you can see that they have some quick tutorials. So if you want to dive deep in to understand how each feature works, that is also there. Keyboard shortcuts and lots more. Right? So let me just close that. And here we have the app store screenshots. And these are really professional looking. Right? And I’m going to show you how easy it is to just swap these screens and make this your own app store screenshots.

So here we have it. First thing I’m going to do is go to uploads. And in uploads, you can actually upload your screenshots. So the first thing I’m going to do is that one. So I’m going to click on upload. And these are my screenshots. I’m just going to upload it. There you go. I have the screenshots uploaded.

And now all you got to do is just click on a screen. So I’m going to click on this one and just select the screen that you want to use. So there you go. I’ll just swap that. The second one I’m going to place this the one. And the third one, let me go with this flight booking. And for the fourth screen, let me go with flight searching. And finally, I’ll put this login screen that I have. So there you go. Both the app screens are already uploaded and they look amazing right away, right? I just need to brand it to my branding or my app color and that’s it. It should be done.

So for that, I just need to make some tweaks here. So I’m going to select the background right here. And this is your color selected. So I know my brand color hex code. I’m just going to paste it right here. And there you go. I have changed the background color there. In case you want a gradient, that is also possible. Just go to gradients. And here you have your two colors. So on the top I’m going to leave it at this. And at the bottom I’m going to slightly darken it. And there you go. That is how it looks. I can switch the alignment as well. So I want this from bottom to top. That is also possible. So I’m going to select the other color right here. And also use my brand color. And with that I should be able to get the theme that I want.

And also the text. So let me just increase this so that it’s not overlapping anymore. And I can also select the text, change the font. So I’m going to choose a different font. And there are a lot of fonts. This one looks good. And I can change the color as well. So I’m going to go for something like an yellow here. And that should look good. So there you go. And I can change the text as well. So let me say explore. And you can also align it to the center with these options. So just align it horizontally. And that’s it. It should be done.

And this one I’m going to say aligning it to the center. I can change this color to let’s say something like a white here. And there you go. That looks already great. And in case you want to change these devices, that is also possible, right? So let me just select this. I’ll just delete this because I want something else.

So I just need to go to elements. And you have a lot of these devices. You have 3D devices. So you can drop in a 3D device and add a screenshot to it. You have these hand. And just search for the one that you like, right? So I’ll probably pick something which is 3D and that should probably look good for this. So let me try this. So I just need to click this and it’ll drop the device onto the screen. So let me just or scale this and place it exactly something like this. Right? So that looks good. Uh and now I just need to replace the screen. So just select this and replace it with the screen shot that you have. It already looks great, right?

And also I can add images. So instead of a background color, you can also go to image and you can search for images. So since this is a travel app, let me just search for something like beach. And you can click on search. And there you have a lot of these beach images. And I just need to click on an image and that’ll download and add it right away. So there you go. That also looks great. I can switch through all these and see which one looks good for my app and I can just go ahead with that. Right.

So same way you can just add these colors to all these devices. And also you can add your logo. If you have your uh brand logo that is also possible and if you come to elements you can add a lot of other elements as well right they have got a preset uh set of images. You can add blobs if you want to add some colors on the end. So you just click on something and it gets added and now you just have to place it wherever you want. Right? So these are just uh elements to brand it.

So once you’re done creating all this, all you got to do is just click on download and select the format that you want. You can go for JPEG or PNG. Just click on whatever you want and that should download all these screenshots right onto your device. And there you go. uh it has got downloaded and I can just select this and if you can see here these are the images and these are super high quality and it looks great right.

So apart from this uh one more thing that I found interesting is the inspiration section so if you’re lacking inspiration or you’re not understanding what to do you can just come here and this is an amazing thing that they have done so whatever category your app is in let’s say you have a finance app you can go here search for something like finance and you have a lot of these inspirations that you can look at and these are really good Right. So you can take inspiration from this and create a new version like this for your app as well. And they have got a lot of these uh inspiration. I’ve checked this. The inspiration section is really good.

And they have got some other features as well. You can explore it. Uh one thing that I liked is the language feature. So let’s say you’re trying to uh upload this for a Chinese market. You can just come here, go to text and choose Chinese and say translate. And that’ll translate all the uh text here on the screenshots to Chinese. And you can just go ahead and upload this for the Chinese market as well.
